About Tags
Tags are a simple way to allocate important attributes to each field so you can enrich the data within your Gatekeeper system. Tags belong to a Tag group which will determine whether they are custom, exclusive or multi-season.

Custom Tag groups (like Field group) allow you to add and edit your own Tag names in the system. Non-custom Tag groups (like Protection status) give you a list of standardised options that are predefined within the system you can allocate to fields and are not editable.
Exclusive Tag groups (like Field group) allow you to only add a single tag from that group to a field within a season. Therefore a single field cannot have two different field groups allocated to it. Non-exclusive Tag groups (like Undersown status) allow you to allocate multiple Undersown status tags to a field from that same Tag group.
Multi season Tag groups (like Field group) once added will be copied to the subsequent field in the following year so long as the structure and size of the field remain the same.
Single season Tag groups (like End Use) will allow the tag to be allocated against the field for that season only as they relate to the crop grown in that given season. When the new season is started these tags will need to be re-selected to the fields in the new season.
All Tags are created, allocated or removed from fields within Manage Tags window which can be accessed by:

Managing conflicts
The Manage Tags window has been optimised to make it easy to find and append tags. Upon selecting a Tag from a Tag group all fields with that Tag which are already allocated to them will be selected and both the Tag and the Fields marked red to show that you are unable to add this tag again.
If a field without that tag is selected then the colour of the tag in the Tag group will change to amber to indicate that the tag can be allocated to some fields but not all with the field that can accept this tag show in green.
If I then select the apply tags button then I will be prompted with a Conflict message stating 'Selected tag(s) conflict with existing field tag(s) and will not be applied. Clicking the Proceed button will apply the tag to all the fields that are currently green highlighted.
